Go to a Hallmark store and buy a card with no message inside. Spend some time and write down in the card why she is special to you.

It's impossible to suggest things without knowing her. However in my opinion you don't have to do something hand made either, just someting that shows that you have put a lot of thought and feelings into choosing.

Bake a cake and decorate it with something she likes, fill her apartment with balloons, buy a book signed by an author she likes, make her breakfast in bed, do something with scrabble tiles (her name or something on a photo frame), do something with those kids letter blocks, take her on a yacht or hot air balloon, get dinner downtown with a carriage to a wine bar, buy her a notebook or journal and inscribe it, get tickets to a play or opera, get jewellery specially designed for her, box her presents endlessly, assemble a photo album, etc etc

 

No offense, but you're 1) asking other people, who don't know about your girlfriend at all, to come up with gift ideas and 2) asking, of all places, a basketball community on the internet? Come on.

I'd ask your girlfriend's closest friends or your girlfriend's parents. They'll know her better than any of us.
