The Saudi Ambassador had an interesting take on this, when interviewed some time after the event. He said that Al Queda chose Saudi's to execute the attack precisely to direct criticism of the even towards Saudi Arabia, and deteriorate relations between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. Which makes a lot of sense...bin Laden's ire to U.S. was due to the relationship between the Saudi's and the U.S. But, then, this is all irrelevant, since I did it.
Sure it did...pieces flew everywhere. Have you never seen the video of the collapse of the two towers? Debris spewing everywhere...CLEARLY hitting other buildings. But, that some continue to seek other explanations is not tolerable by our organization. All those continuing to promote this view will be found and terminated. All part of the grand conspiracy. It is worth noting that anyone who REALLY believed this was a conspiracy would never say so, for fear of being found and exterminated. Kind of a reverse catch 22....
I love how people simultaneously think the government is incompetent but also think that it could pull this off and not a single person involved would ever share anything or slip up.

There is video footage taken of building 7 burning and the cameraman actually zooms in and you can see the building's support structure waning. There were no detonations. A camerman was on the ground and recorded it.
Definitely, I've always laughed at this. "Obama (or whoever) is totally incompetent and can't get anything accomplished except for his massive nefarious plot to turn America into a Muslim State (or whatever)." Threads like this are useful, though, they let everyone know who the nutjobs are.
He was actually part of a news team that was broadcasting live in New York. Building 7 caught on fire due to debris from the main WTC towers. It was burning incredibly hot and the water system failed (backups were down because of damage to the city line from the collapse of the two towers.) The fires burned out of control for hours and ultimately initiated a progressive collapse when one floor's support lost connection. An engineering firm recreated the event in simulation and released a report years ago proving, scientifically, how it could be recreated because the building was not designed to hold up against the thermally induced lateral load that was on the support structure. The reason for the rarity is that the water system would work in most cases. This was an obviously unique incident. Water sprinkler systems are designed to withstand certain elements, when the main system gets taken out it would move to a backup on the city water line. Unfortunately in this case, the collapse of the first two towers caused catastrophic damage to the city water lines, so there was no backup water system to control the fires.
The government, no. The companies and private contractors owned by certain high ranking individuals in government....that is another story. The bottom line for me with conspiracy theories: Aliens, Area 51, yea probably not true. But this one, kinda like climate change, when there is an army of experts who question the story, that is something I can get behind.
An army of experts does not mean majority. That is the difference with climate change. One thing I am unable to wrap my head around is... did the conspirators think that bringing down the twin towers is not enough for the American public to be convinced we needed to go to war and hijacking more planes and sacrifice additional lives? If you and I were to plan a conspiracy, do you think we can come up with a better plan that can outrage the american people without having to spend all the resources, manpower, sacrifice less lives and making sure the co-conspirators don't leak info, etc? For example, explode Air Force one in mid air (saying POTUS, Vice and their families where there even though they are not), blow up old empty Naval ships, an empty US embassy in Iraq. Leak pictures of massacred Americans that never happened. All these things can be easily done and it should have the same effect without the cost and liability of what happened for 911.

If there is ever a case for Occam's Razor, 9/11 is it. There are literally millions of easier ways to justify going to war. The complexity of pulling off 9/11 alone, makes it absurd to think it is an "inside job." Even dumber would be blowing up building 7. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Well, that just has an obvious problem. Namely, why does the Bush government want to pass the Patriot Act so badly that they are prepared to risk EVERYTHING for it? Like, if they get caught, they are ****ed beyond imagination. Unbelievably ****ed. Like, everything they have touched get turned into crap. What is in the Patriot Act that could be worth that? I mean, I know it can be difficult to believe, but I do think that our government is not filled with Saturday morning cartoon villains who pet cats and plan to destroy freedom because they are evil. Normally, when presidents plan to pass really tough, controversial legislation, they do things like legislative manuevers, get on the news, maybe grease some palms in Congress or something. Not spend months preparing to blow up two buildings.
The best thing about the 9/11 inside job conspiracy is that there are other more believable (but still bull****) sub-conspiracies available (once the attacks started they let them continue without interference to drum up support for war, they wanted to hide something in Building 7 so they used the attack as a cover to blow that building up, they had some advance warning so they were able to warn/evacuate the Jews, etc.), but the conspiracy theorists insist on going in whole hog and pile a bunch of crap on top of itself like all of the above plus, the towers were both internally imploded, the alleged highjackers are still alive, the whole thing was a false flag operation, etc.
