    Griffin/Piatkowski

We're petitioning the NBA to allow us to rotate Piatkowski on offense and Griffin on defense without play stoppage. The combination will be the greatest $3.5 million/year SF in league history.

When one player tags the other player at the scorer's table, the other will skate onto the court.

Personally I like RIET's idea but I think we might need to get hockey coach Ken Hitchcock to teach us how to succesfully change lines while the game is in play.

    ;)

Honestly though, I think Boki will be given a lot of chances to prove himself before the trade deadline. If he proves himself then we can try and trade Rice for whatever needs we might have and if not then we can use Rice to try to acquire a starting small forward.

I don't think Griffin or Pike were brought in here to start.

I agree with this post, however I think Boki has until the end of training camp. If he can't break into the rotation, I just think he's number 12 on the bench all year. I don't think they would be able to trade him if he can't beat out Rice, Griffin, and Piatkowski.

Piatowshi isnt a Small Forward but a Shooting Guard. Rice should be planted or eaten.Nachbar needs experience, so that leaves A Griffin!

I ended voting for A. Griffin too. Rice should never have been our small forward. Boki just hasn't been getting it done during the offseason, and Pike is more of SG.

Rice should start until he gets injured.

He makes $9+m/year...start him. Aging veterans loose their touch sitting on the bench getting cold after pre-game warmups...start him. He is still able to postup players his height or smaller...start him. He is a defensive liability...get him his shots early and often and if he's hot...play him. If not, start him...next game. :D

I think Pike is a starter but Griffin was brought in as a defensive specialist and rebounder. Rice is getting way to old and will not start. Boki will get minutes but very limited untill Rice retires.

Unless any trades happen, I expect Rice to start for this team.

I hope Pike starts. Rice shouldn't start, sure he's making a lot of money and he's a veteran, but screw that, put the better player on the court. Griffin should back up the 2 and Nachbar needs time.

I don't thing Pike and Griffin were brought in to be starters.

Rice will start at the beginning. Boki will be given the chance to beat him out. If he can, Boki will be the permanent starter. If not, Rice will continue to start until he's injured and then the position will be manned by committee of Boki, Pike, and Griffin.

I expect CD is looking to Nachbar as the starter for the future but not right now. He may be ready midway through the year.

Right now A Griff is the Van Gundy type of veteran that can step right in and do the dirty work. Eventually he will revert to being a solid backup 2-3.
