But I only buy it when there are significant changes or I buy a new gaming platform. I bought 2002 when I got my PS2, skipped 2003, and am only buying 2004 because of the depth involved in franchise mode. Relocation, bonuses, setting ticket/concession prices... it's all there.
Which location did you call. I just called the 290 location again and the location in the MarquE on I-10 and both stores said they didn't even have their copies in and wouldn't get them until the AM.
I went to the Greenspoint Mall location. They told me one of their guys will be in the galleria waiting for the shipment to arrive. It is expected at 7pm. The guy will be there at 6:30pm. Madden 2004 will be at the Greenspoint location somewhere between 7:30pm and 8:00pm. If you reserve the game by 5pm this applies
What is EB Games.....I did a search for it in Yahoo Yellow Pages because I wanted to reserve my copy but there was no listing........please help.
Thanks keeley! Guys I just talked to the guy and if you get to the store at Greenspoint and put down a $5 deposit by 5:00 p.m. you'll have it by 7:30!!!!!!!!!
the hell with that. I got down to EB Games at 7:30 and they didn't have it. The guy said they were looking at about 8:30. About 8:15 i go back in there and the manager or whoever that was in the galleria waiting for the copies hadn't even got them yet. Once he did it was a 20, 25 minute drive back to greenspoint mall. No way was i waiting until 9:15 or so for that game. I'll just go back tomorrow morning.
I'll have to get it tomorrow. The weather here in the Austin area has been WAY below average, and to test the rain, wind, downed power lines, debris all over the place and traffic for a game I won't get to play much until tomorrow evening is not worth it. I'll pick it up in the afternoon on Tuesday....I'd love to hear about it from anyone who got it, though.
I just ran down to Gamespot at about 8:30, but they didn't have any in, so I prepaid for it and I'll pick it up tomorrow. Who are these hooligans who can only get the game in the day of the release and not before!?
I want the game so bad. Mine is sitting at the Gamestop near the Willowbrook Mall. Grrrrrr. My parents said why worry about getting the game tonight when you can just pick it up tomorrow morning. I took a very deep breath...
Man, I've been in two on-line leagues a year for the past 3 seasons. That's where the action is!!! As long as the league pays stict attention to ai abuse and makes rules that force you to play a realistic style of football, then there is no better thrill than playing that big game during the week and preparing!!! Madden has always ruled and I cannot wait for this year to once again dominate!!!
I've noticed for the ROY it always has 2nd year players, for instance David Carr just won OROY eventhough hes a 2nd year player, the next year Leftwhich won it in his 2nd year. Anybody else have this minor but annoying glitch?
Perhaps the game is so realistic they had Leftwich hold out the entire first season... and maybe they knew David Carr's 1st season shouldn't count anyways with that "offensive" line.
