It seems reasonable to charge that amount to cover the costs of having to get this tissue to whomever. If they don't charge then who pays the cost? Obviously you don't want the taxpayer to right?

I just don't get what you are complaining about. $30 isn't a financial incentive when you are using it to cover costs and is perfectly legal.

Secondly, with her cavalier approach and speech, she literally provided all of the ammo to destroy her own organization. Also, she willingly provided internal business info related to agreements/disagreements within her own leadership. Complete incompetence.

If they are breaking even they aren't trying to maintain any profit level - because there is no profit that is being made now. Except you blatantly ignore that and put forth lies that you know are not true by even writing "profit margin". What profit margin are you talking about? None. There is no evidence of any profit margin. But no, you make it up anyway because you don't mind playing loose with the facts. You don't care about the truth.

My two cents:

Most (non-medical) people would be horrified and/or grossed out and/or call us callous/uncaring/etc. simply by listening to a group of nurses talk about their jobs over dinner. I've been out with co-workers and gotten dirty looks plenty of times when we forget we're out in public and regular people are eating at the tables next to us and aren't trying to hear about the 30-min code and crunching ribs and pressure ulcers and traumas and bodily fluids and body parts and smelly-ass hobos projectile vomiting everywhere while simultaneously sh!tting on the floor.

In other words, this is how people in the medical field speak to one another. Nothing to see here.

 

They knew of this and did nothing to stop it SMDH one would think this was a great chance to clean up there image.

My wife works for a hospice company and many would be dumbstruck at what she deals with on a daily basis.

The sad part is, even though the PP employee is talking in the way she would with any medical professional, they still had to selectively edit in order to twist this conversation enough to activate the Faux "News" outrage machine.
