So you have said numerous times that you are not an insider but now you are saying that you have a spot in the Denver front office. Great.
I do not want Lawson . Awful defender and has a crappy attitude. I know that winning contributes to having a good attitude but I don't want to make such a big move that is as risky as Lawson would be . Would Lawson come off the bench ? Probably not ... If we were to get Lawson I would want the guard minutes to be split up about 25-28 minutes for Lawson and Beverley each . Which means that one of them would need to be at the two for a period of time . While Beverley can guard some twos he is best suited to defend points as he is not the biggest guy . I'm happy running with nick / jet / Thornton for the first part of the season and seeing how it turns out . Let things play out and see if Johnson has improved significantly . If he can shoot the 3 at 38 ish percent he will be more than adequate at backup . I want Beverley / Johnson combo the most ... Imagine 48 minutes of 94 foot defense . Non stop ball pressure.
yo bbholic my main man!!! I noticed thornton wasnt in your value free agents section in your sig so before I celebrate on the signing can you confirm or deny it? thanks bud just let me know homie
@shamscharania 11:00am "Free agent Jameer Nelson has an agreement in principle on a new three-year contract with the Denver Nuggets, league sources tell RealGM."
Denver giving a $14MM, 3 year deal to Nelson, seems like a lot for a 3rd PG. <blockquoteclass="twitter-tweet" lang="en">
ESPN sources say JameerNelson has landed three-year, $13.5M from Denver, while Jokic(2014 second-rounder) gets four-year deal worth $5.5M
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) July 13, 2015

Morey doesn't suffer fools. He doesn't do mollycoddling. It doesn't seem to end well when headcases act up on this team.
Well look at you. Put your money where your mouth is. When is he getting moved by? And no, you can't say "SOON". Every player is getting moved from every team at some point in the modern NBA. Even Ricky Rubio, the guy who is apparently coming to the Rockets SOON, will eventually be traded. When is that Jones trade coming? If you know something and a deal is happening, please say so. But if you, Plow, Cod, or whoever are going to do 4 more months of the "SOON" talk then you are going to continue to lose credibility and look like more of a guy trying to get internet attention and trying to gamble in order to gain some fake internet credibility award. Again... I love your knowledge of the CBA and the homework you put into this passion of yours, but the entitled insider shtick you and a few others play is going to make for a long offseason, and the petulance will only reinforce simple minded BS with the good quality posters finding more productive ways to spend their downtime at work then posting knowledgeable bball discussions. Here's to a better offseason than last. Lets cut the Holier than Thou, I'm an Insider BS for once please. (And if you are going to be a not-so-insider insider, please at least be entertaining like Plow, or Doc. A little fun with pop-culture and music never hurt anyone)
nah, Nets are tanking again next season. Looks like HOU are the only destination left for Ty to be traded to. Maybe it was Morey's plan all along to wait this long?
No. No. No. Where is this reported Lawson trade everyone thinks is happening? Its a Clutchfans rumor that started from nothing but Rockets fans trying to find any team with a halfway decent PG that is on a team not competing for a title. Basically EVERY SINGLE PG in this category has been "Rumored" by what some would say are fake insiders. -J. Jack -Rondo (when with Boston) -Rubio -Bledsoe or Dragic (Soon!!!) -Deron Williams and -Ty Lawson At some point over the past 18 months a different "insider" has claimed every single one of these guys was about to be traded to the Rockets. And here we are again... now with Lawson being the guy the insiders are placing their bets on. Clutch has even commented that despite the seemingly good fit as a trade partner and player to plug in that role, for whatever reason the Rockets haven't pursued a trade for him that he knows of. That's coming straight from the horses mouth at least around here. .... Also the Nelson signing has NOTHING to do with Lawson and everything to do with the Salary cap. Go check out @BobbyMarks Twitter timeline.
Lawson is an assist machine, and he can shoot. Attitude and defense are concerns, but on balance I think he makes the Rockets a lot better. And they need to get better to have a shot at even matching last season's success.
