so we got screwed in the trade, b4 it was philly firs cuz they got kt for nothing really, and then us then denver for giving posey for picks, but now its the opposite, denver got picks and cap room, posey might have left them anyways, then us cuz we didnt overpay but we got nothing, and then philly 50million???dam, they got the worst of it, lost a pick too
I agree... PG - Jacque Vaughn, Kenny Anderson or Mark Jackson PF - Tyrone Hill or Charles Oakley We would be much improved from last season...
Good choices for PG. We let Samaki, Willis, Madsen signed with others for little. I guess we have few choices left. Hill is good for PF. Oakley is ok but some call him cancer. Parks is actually a good choice cause he can play 2 positions and 2nd string C/PF and we only need a 3rd string guy. He can sit one whole game then come in and contribute for 20 mins next game unlike others who need to play all the time.
I'd like a defensive/rebounder PF. Someone like Bo Outlaw. If Badienne isn't ready and heads to Europe for seasoning then sure, someone like Tyrone Hill makes sense for a one-year contract. A PG, sure, Anderson, but he will cost. Vaughn? I guess so. But howsabout someone like Rafer Alston?
I won my fantasy league last year partly because of Rafer Alston. When Vince Carter was out (which was often) he put up wonderful numbers. Is he available?
Hey me too. Rafer was a huge pickup for my fantasy team who definitely helped me win, so I like him too...and yes, I believe he's still a free agent. Imagine the streetballin moves among him, Stevie, Mooch, and the Cat. Alley-oops all over the place.
Another 4 or 4/5 would be nice because it also gives some flexibility to go big with EG at the 3. Hill or Oakley or perhaps Trent or Parks or Ellis or McCoy or Massenberg or Derek Strong would be OK--the problem with Ellis, Hill and Oakley and other 10year+ is they may not be worth there 1.1-1.2 vet min salary. A young possible back-up enforcer 4 could be Alton Ford--can get him for the min which would be nice. I like to see us add Dermarr or Donell Harvey so that we have another potential future 3 and some more length/athleticism there. Either one of these young 3s or Ford is where I'd like to look--potentially a long term roll player who can develop with our core players basically. I also think we have much more pressing situations with our forward spots than just adding back-up PG. Moochie didn't have a good year last and his contract is inflated--but he still is better than most of the back-ups available for a low price like Vaughn.
