Seriously, Cuban should have offered Boban 3/9 to be his starting center. Mavs would've been a lot better off with that than trading a second rounder for Zaza.
They didn't trade a second lol they got him for free basically. It's a top 55 protected 2018 second. I knew it the minute I read the news. As I said Hammond/Kidd are dumb gms.
Fair enough, I thought you were trying to say he was good defensively when you said I personally don't believe that he'll be very good defensively in that he has almost no mobility and so many teams use the pick and roll....something he has no hope of defending at an NBA level. Either way, he's almost certainly better than what they had.
Not exactly free. He's taking up $5.2 million of their cap space and a roster spot. Boban Marjanovic is the better player at this respective stage in each player's career. And Boban couldn've been gotten for half the money they're paying Zaza.
Warriors Spurs Rockets, with probably 3 teams within a game of us at the end, and the Spurs closer to us than the Warriors at the end of the regular season. Uh
Why must a player "come in and take the league by storm"? Isn't rotation player a good enough hope for any (short of the e-lite)?
1. Houston Rockets 2. Oakland Warriors 3. San Antonio Spurs 4. Los Angeles Clippers 5. Oklahoma City Thunder 5. Memphis Grizzlies 7. New Orleans Pelicans 8. Sacramento Kings
D-will bought out. Probably headed to Dallas. If so then that hopefully takes Dallas out of the running for KJ

I definitely do not want Deron Williams, but how hilarious would it be if we were somehow able to sign him and Dallas lost out...again... sweet sweet Cuban tears. but again... do not want....just want Dallas suffering.
Marc Stein ESPN sources say Deron Williams is expected to sign a two-year deal with Dallas in the $10 million range once he hits the open market
