So was Woj and Stein both wrong in their reports on Dallas seeking for a S&T with Lin?

Lin's quotes seem very contradictory to basically what every credible reporter's "sources" were indicating.

From what I understand, Lin had at the very least, interest from Bulls, Spurs, Cavs, Dallas, and Philly.

So the hordes of LOFs are gone and you guys still obsessing over Lin. Tells me this has nothing to do with the LOFs, but your need to bash Lin...

Some players take less money to go play for a winning team.

Jeremy Lin takes peanuts to voluntarily sign for the the trashy Hornets.

    So either

    1) Jeremy Lin got no other offers and this was a "gift" he had to accept. Keep in Hornets still have MLE. Horents didnt even need to use it on him if there was a bidding war lol.

    or

    2) He got other offers but the idiot chose to play for Hornets.

Neither option is a flattering one lol.

Lin fanatic, Blueshampoo, who likes to compare James Harden to Jeremy Lin, dropped by a few days ago bragging how Jeremy Lin was getting all these offers from contenders.

Nowhere to be seen now. While Danang is on his typical meltdown mode.

Really really terrible year for Lin fanatics. :(

They most likely couldn't afford him (Spurs, Cavs, Mavs) or were offering an even smaller contract. Whether or not he wanted to start was irrelevant as none of the teams mentioned, including the team he actually joined was starting him. Each team has an incumbent PG already that is arguably more skilled or proven than Lin.

By NBA standards, there's not much smaller you can go when you are making 2M a year.

If that is the case and a playoff team (heck or any other team) was actually interested in him but he chose the Hornets for a little more, then all I have to say is.....

....his off-the-court decision making needs as much work as his on-court-decision making.

3.) He just want to play his game. I think he just want to dispel his own "what ifs".

Well, just be happy for the man. Just ignore those fans. If you are better than them, then it's better to move on. Rather, worry on the Clippers and Spurs stacking their way for next year. I still have to hear from Morey his latest move. Bringing back essentially the same team isn't bad but it will be a relief if there's some kind of improvement in the roster, not an injury-away again as last year.

What exactly is "play his game?"

Play out of control without accountability?

How exactly is playing behind Kemba Walker on Charlotte Hornets going to make him look good or even improve him as a player?

Looks like he is just cannot adjust or adapt his game to team's needs and is thus looking for a team without accountability.

Again, this is assuming he got offers from better teams.

PS. Rockets talk in other appropriate thread.

There is a very few that just like to bash Lin, perhaps because of LOFs. And then there are those that can't stand LOFs, but mature enough to separate that out from Lin himself. They know who they are.

Lin Fans thought playing behind future HOFers like Kobe and multiple time All stars like Melo and Harden was bad. They also thought playing 2nd fiddle to these stars was "marginalization" and racism. Hahah now these idiots will witness Lin playing behind Kemba freaking Walker and Jerry Lamb. How sweet.

Lin has pretty much relegated himself to scrub status. Doesn't get worse than almost min wage when you are 27 years on a non playoff team in the Eastern Conference.

Lin fans thought Harden was a ball hog.

Wait till they meet the Black Hole Brothers: Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker.

$2m/year is good value for Lin. Good deal for the Hornets.

Q&A from Lin's Facebook last night:

Care to share your thought process on joining the Hornets?/Why Hornets????

A:My number 1 priority was finding the best opportunity to get the most minutes playing my style of play. Wont get too much into it, but Charlotte was by far the best choice. Spoke to Coach Clifford for a couple hours and really understands my game. I feel like he will bring out the best in me.
My free agency goals were to find the right fit and a place where I could be most empowered to be the player I believe I can be. After having multiple discussions, Charlotte was the obvious choice!

Will you be backing up Kemba or doing more shooting guard?
A:They want me at both the 1 and the 2, as well as running lots of pick and rolls. Great fit and opportunity!!

    "COME BACK TO MAVS!!!!!!"
A:Gotta go where they want me! Charlotte and Coach Clifford made it clear they really wanted and believed in me.
    "[Lin] better not replace Kemba"
A:No intention of doing that at all. Respect his game and plan on doing damage playing alongside him

Your offline decisions are suspect (preferring to use a vegetable over the real thing). It disgusts me, but I didn't go on here to blast you for it....oh wait, I did.

    Carry on!

Look man. It's the internet. There's spinmeat and blue waffles, so why can't there be a Hornets/Bobcats fan forum.
Hell, I won't be surprised if there's a furry site devoted to the Bobcats/Hornets mascot.
