    Man that Mavs Fan is truly a fanatic. I am sure Cuban and Mavs will have a plan B at 12:00 am Eastern rolls on . Hoping the Rockets can get something done to get a PG and veteran backup C.

    Without DeAndre Jordan, Dallas is in that bottom tier. And even with him I'd swap them with Utah and put them in tier 4. They've lost Chandler, Ellis, Aminu, Barrea and Rondo. Dirk is a year older. Parsons and Matthews are both coming off major surgeries.

    I think they're going to be AWFUL. Lakers could finish above them. Portland WILL finish above them.

    Jordan will lose a lot of respect for his actions. Imagine it had have been done to us.
    Although I must admit it's f@$king hilarious because it's the Mavs. (Great video Capt Jackass!)
    Just a question though - because DAJ re-signed with LAC, why do people now think they're better than us? Their only trades are Pierce and Stephenson. Phhe - Who cares!
    Outside of maybe Spurs, we're no worse than the top3 in the west. And that's with all our injuries and no signings as yet.

    Very unprofessional from Deandre Jordan. But I've come to expect nothing less from professional athletes.

    I'm annoyed that the Clippers will still be a powerhouse, although seeing as we beat them I'm not too worried (I am worried about the Spurs and GSW though).

    I'm really hoping that the Mavs don't give Smoove a massive contract. I'm also hoping Cuban makes good on his word to blow it all up. I'd love to try to get Dirk or (much more likely) Devin Harris if that happens.

    The Clips could have (should have?) beaten us in the playoffs, and they replaced Matt Barnes, who no one bothered to guard, with Paul Pierce. And they've at least partially addressed the depth issue by adding Stephenson.

    We have no idea what to expect from Dwight moving forward, and it remains to be seen how D-Mo will look coming back from his injury. And then there's the question of whether Harden's workload is going to affect him.

    Definitely not a given that we're going to be better (or even as good) as the Clips, at least without seeing what the roster looks like in November.

    I like seeing Mavs/Cuban brought low as much as anyone
    And the emojis were fun while they lasted.

    But underneath it all, this has very serious consequences for other players lives p -- like Matthews, and others who signed recently with expectation of DeAndre being there. The whole thing is not some hi jinks and that the Clips were treating it that way is in a sense such an indictment of them as a group, as a culture. Could you see the spurs sending emojis as they went about persuading a team member to break a promise made to another team

    Clips will always be Clips.

    Boston own the Mavs 2016 first round pick, 1-7 protected,

    so you don't really want the Mavs to completely blow it up but rather suck like the Suns or the Kings.

    That will be best thing.
