    At this point Cuban has to be humiliated and realizing tanking is inevitable. He owes it to Dirk to put him in a position to try for one more chip and a young Jones or DMo replacement PF is a logical move for a rebuild.

    Morey has to at least inquire.

    Cuban is never going to tank.

    He's going to spend more money on mediocre players and say something like "Losing a free agent like DeAndre Jordan means that we can sign more players to help our team improve."

    Forget Dirk. Rockets toasted his ass in the playoffs last year. You want to see other teams annihilating us on the pick and roll all year?

    My bet: Lawson is coming to Houston. Only question is whether it's a deal just for him or whether it's an expanded deal that includes Gallinari or Faried.

    No way Lawson stays to "mentor" Mudiay, and who are other potential suitors that would make any sense? Certainly not SAC after Rondo.

    Gallinari would be an incredible stretch 4 option for Rockets and Faried would be a beast with Brewer running the court.
