No. They could fine or penalize the Clippers. Maybe take a few draft picks to send a message. And they'll definitely change the free agency rules so this doesn't happen again.

You know Cuban will be fuming and he has every right to be. This is not right. Other players and teams have made moves based around this since last Friday. Does Dallas sign Evans if Jordan doesn't commit to them? Does Barea turn down Miami?

I am not asking about the legal ramifications, I am a lawyer and do quite a bit of contract litigation.

If the NBA chooses to, there are a number of things they can do to punish the Clippers and Jordan.

We will see what happens. The league essentially forced Sterling to sell and have shown a willingness to take a hard stand.... although, mostly that was under Stern.

 

i know we have a history with the Mavs, but the Clippers are just so much more hateable than the current mavs. Can't stand the dirty floppers the Clips are.. F Blake.. F CP3.
