Looking more that they've score 8, 12, 12, and now 8 runs (and counting) in their last 4 games, all on the road. They're just killing the ball right now... which is why an ASB may not be a bad thing for the Astros.
Well I don't know what the hell happened to the Rangers in that series..unless they were way over-achieving in May and June
Nope... but with starting pitching still in flux and Springer still a good 5-6 weeks away (at least), the Angels certainly picked a good time to get ultra-hot.
Astros haven't been shut out on the road since may 8th... and were shut out by Cleveland the 2nd game of the season. They also haven't won a 3 or 4 game road series since April. They did sweep 2 in Colorado.
This is all gravy...i have to catch myself getting disappointed with watching division lead slip away...we have a lot of big things ahead of us. At the very least the Stros are getting great experience dealing with being a division leader
this is it. if we can score 3 runs, i'd be ok with that. not to worried about the division. we're very streaky.
I do think the Indians are a good team if they can get their hitting together. We can't expect to sweep them
With Lowrie and eventually Springer coming back, I still feel a more consistent bat needs to be a top priority at the trade deadline.
