Would have loved to see KJ defending Curry or Klay in the WCF. I love Brew, but KJ is a much better man to man defender and rim protector than Brew, not even close. KJ and Ariza would have locked down the perimeter. Brew might be a bit longer but KJ has elite hops to make up for it. I can see KJ becoming just as good of a leak out specialist as Brew in time, kid definitely has smarts and work ethic (to go along with his uber athleticism) to improve himself.
Am I? The players are very close to him and confide in him. The front office loves him and uses him as a go between with some of the players. Virtually no one in that building dislikes Keith Jones and that is the reason he has risen to the position he has and that he has been with the organization for 25 years.
I've heard from some people within the org who just really aren't big fans of the guy. Not that it matters. To your point he's pretty successful for a reason. He's just not universally loved.
