He's a decent enough fill-in guy at multiple places (can play LF, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B).... but he's had to have far more AB's than warranted this year due to injury.
McCullers hasn't been sharp but like I said earlier, he keeps the team in it. He and Keuchel are true #1s I feel.
Hitting pretty well, lately. I wouldn't mind seeing him take a few games at 1B. Carter has been pretty bad lately.
yes, perfect utility player. and along with what you're saying, i think we've seen enough from him at the plate this year to know that he's better suited for a utility role than every day. i'm not sure how the hell lance got out of today giving up only 1 run.
