TJones, Bev and Nick Johnson for Teague? Atl is good but not good enough to come out of the east. I also think their successful season was an anomaly. They already lost Carrol and he was a big part of that team and it may be best for them to give the keys to Schroeder. He's likely their future PG anyway so let him start early and have Bev back him up as the veteran defensive minded PG. T Jones can be a good backup to Millsap. Or we can roll the dice and do a deal centered around Teague for Ariza and hope KJ or Dekker can help fill the void. Worst case scenario we can depend more on Brewer but if we had that 2nd legit ball handler/ playmaker that can create his own shot and hit the 3 he'd more than make up for what we lose on the defensive side from Ariza. Any way u shake it I think Teague would be a great fit here. He's very underrated and can compliment Harden and be the final piece for us to win it all. He can shoot, stay with his man, has good handles, create for his teammates and himself. In other words he's a 'playmaker' ... Actually THE playmaker we are seeking and would more than fulfill Harden's request. Plus he's on a very Morey-friendly contract. 32 million over 4 years signed a couple years ago. Not too sound or pretend like I know it all or have a crystal ball but I'd be surprised if Morey didn't already hit up ATL or is trying to work a potential Teague deal.
i;m not sure he's underated but did you watch him vs cavs ? he looked completely lost and they dared him to shoot or drive to the basket.
Or Howbout shroeder? https://sports.vice.com/en_us/article/jeff-teague-dennis-schrder-dr-jekyll-and-mr-hyde
A few Joseph stats: 55% in the paint 49% from midrange 36% from 3 He's 23 y/o, and is already a plus defender. We'd be lucky to get him at the right price. I could see SA agreeing to Papa and Llull for Joseph. They've got to start planing for a future without Parker or ginobili.

I'm surprised CoJo only shot 44 attempts from 3-pt range last season. His shot distribution is skewed towards the paint/restricted area (click below): Spoiler
I'd like Joseph as well I think you will have to overpay to pull him away from San Antonio tho, but he might see a chance to start being on the Rockets so who knows
youre saying that SA needs to prep for the future by trading away a very good 23 year old PG for an older one that just signed and contract to stay overseas and for an unproven NBA player in Kostas?
SA might have to renounce him, in order to give LMA the max. The only way to fit him in Houston is with the MLE.
Put me on that wagon too@ Joseph = Parker 2.0. They are three "starters" deep at that position. They shouldn't be greedy.
You have to like our chances at an upgrade. There are lots of potential options: Lawson, collison, Joseph, etc.....man I hope we get the upgrade we need without selling the farm.
even if joseph is renoounced he will become an ufa and there will be many teams who can offer him more money than us. Unless you suggest we spend the mle on him instead of KJ/Smith. I think that if he would be renounced it would have happened by now. But we will see. Maybe they pressure Manu to take a vet min and come back. If he and Duncan take very few money then they can keep joseph.
