The request for help was partly because Bev was out.

Not upset at all .... Just stating an opinion. If you don't agree with it , that's fine by me.

Not sure what so many of yall are worrying about..Rox if healthy gonna be right back to contention. And your draft picks are both good additions. Harrell is a BEAST and Dekker could be a real player

Hopefully Cyberx will have some cool info on how the offseason has gone...Did the Rockets really feel like they had a chance to get LMA? Did they resign Brew and Bev as a last minute push to get LMA, or did they do it after LMA made it clear he wasn't coming here? What exactly happened with Llull? Were we going to resign Bev no matter what Llull was gonna do?

If you can't freak out over every thing that doesn't go your way then what's the point of being a fan. ;)

oh please, just stop with the cyberx circlejerk. The entire media knew he was leaning towards / would likely go to the Spurs - for the past few months at that.

I say we roll with Nick Johnson if no deal and/or trade can be reached. We can survive with him and Bev handling PG duties. Nick just needs to practice the 3ball.

As has been mentioned, it's assumed other moves must be made for the Spurs to make the room, one option being letting Mills go. That's where it's coming from.

I'm not saying TP won't come out and destroy the league if healthy, either last year or the year before he was on a tear to open the season. My only point is he has had some recent injuries and relies on his quickness. If his speed starts to drop off, his effectiveness will too.

Also, look at his stats for the last 3 years. Consistent drop from year to year (yes again - injuries, but perhaps he can now be considered injury prone).

There might be some truth to that. But there's no doubt that if Morey can get Lawson for cheap, he'll pull the trigger.

    Jonathan Feigen ‏@Jonathan_Feigen

"The plan now (per sources) is to match on KJ McDaniels and look at trade options, opportunities. They'll be patient."

Asked if Josh Smith is in plans...

"As I said, McDaniels, look/wait for trade. I guess he's possible, but Rockets over cap. Other 2 things priorities."

Kind of strange news about Smoove. Maybe he thought the FO would focus on getting him back instead of LMA and has been throwing a fit? Or he could be a perfect gentleman, and I'm dead wrong.

He also said Rockets were not in contention for either Brewer or Beverly and both players agreed to terms with the Rockets shortly after. Feigan tells you what he hears but it does not mean he hears everything.

I'd much rather have Smoove back than KJ, especially after trading Dekker and resigning Brew.

If we lose TJones in a trade, I don't want to be stuck with just DMo at the 4....maybe this is where Scola comes in....
