Bosh then Aldridge... Why is Morey only chasing NERDS?! We need some JOCKS and PREPPIES and CHEERLEADERS!

Why are you on a ledge? - Noone can sign anyone until after the moritorium which is still a week away. - We control Beverly and K.J. and can sign either outright or match any offer either can receive. - Only Brewer and Josh are unrestricted and both of their positions are stocked. - All signs are that Josh wants to come back. Brewer as well if DM values him high enough. - Daryl Morey is never done trying to improve the roster. He will explore trades etc... after LMA saga is over. - Houston has one of the elite teams in the league as is. We have players coming back healthy next season. Players like Nick Johnson and Capela should be better. A full season of a healthy DMo and TJones will be great as well. There is nothing to be on the ledge about. Daryl Morey is trying to make moves to put us over the top while other teams like Phoenix, Dallas & San Antonio are trying to make moves to catch up or keep pace with Houston.
That Amick report pretty much put a stop to our chances. We're in the same boat with LA, Toronto and Miami it seems. San Antonio, Phoenix, or Dallas.
Wouldn't count us out yet. Hasn't been any info on the Rockets. Aldridge would have gone SAS if he was so clear cut. It was pretty obvious that the Suns weren't a destination as he would be joining a team that is at best, as good as his Portland teams that weren't considered elite.

Rockets have the means and the ability to match any offer that Beverly or McDaiels can receive in free agency so no conversation needed with them. Terry is old and he can retire or move on as far as I'm concerned. We will see what happens with Smoove and Brewer.
this is what i was waiting for. And it makes the most sense. Perhaps i shouldn't read too much into Pops going for round 2 with LMA, but i can't help myself. We've got them sweating
