Pop meeting can be about convincing aldridge to take long term since rilley gave him some ideas ( it makes too much sense financially to sign 1+1). Also he may eat his way out of the league pretty soon the way he goes.
I would venture Morey will want to sign someone long term this season under a deal that would be more cap friendly once it goes up even if the dollar amount seems high

I will play along and add... Dwight wasn't at the meeting bc the rockets contingent, especially harden, told LMA that harden cant handle the scoring load and carry the team all season again. Rockets brass shows LMA how much usage he will get, how and where he is most efficient; tells him that Dwight is horribly inefficient except on PNR and putbacks, how Dwight will do all the dirty work, how the combo of LMA, harden and Dwight projects to have the highest defensive and offensive efficiency in the League.
