1. Yao's beefed up and has a year of NBA experience under his belt. 2. I really think Boki will find his shot. 3. JVG making EG do what he does best, stay around the basket. 4. JVG will make Cato a better player. 5. Defense will be vasty improved. 6. We'll see considerably more hustle that we did last year. 7. Players will be held accountable. 8. New uniforms! 9. Solid role players added. 10. Less selfish play!!!!!!!!
And to elaborate on #9, I'd like to add that the team's depth has definitely increased, which will lead to a big advantage over last season. And even if they choose not to keep this entire depth, they would only be able to lose this depth by trading away two or more players for less in exchange. Which generally means that you are getting a better player than any of the ones you traded away. Good deal either way.
I agree with everything except with this. Boki is not as good as you guys think. He is OVERRATED. He is a failure and dissapointment. Everyone tries to blame Rudy for blowing his self-esteem, I dont think he'll get much better under Van Gundy. But to add another bright spot to next season, 11. More National TV attention next season!
I can't believe this is the same player I used to watch in Benetton Treviso games. That dude is broken like a mule. If he doesn't turn it around this season they ought to just cut him. I had high hopes but you have to be a fighter to make it in the NB....EHHHH
NO we didnt add the "BIG STARS" like other teams did ( Lakers, T-Wolves, Nets to name a few) but it seems to me that im actually satisfied with the team soo far. We have the role players and depth that contenders need. Compare to the '93-'94 ROX team....... itzIce
of course they didn't have to beat an Olympic team to get the ring (much less beat them in the first round). Not that they couldn't have, because you "Never underestimate the Heart of a Champion." If you underestimate the heart of a champion, you clearly need to FOCK-ASS.
this team should really start to have it together by mid-season while the lakers start to wear down and i think we would have a better chance at betting the lakers in the playoffs as opposed to s.a. , minn., or dallas. we know what its like to have had great old players who could build up huge leds only to have much younger teams come roaring back to beat us.
i agree with you completely. only the boki thing. i though he will have his shot too. but, after what he did to the summer leagues, its hard to bare his game. i hope he recovers and proves his worth hoping for.
Regarding Nachbar. Are you already giving up on him ? Give him at least a chance, before you start bashing… Have faith, he can play.
