I understand your frustration but lets be realistic: Brewer, Smith, and Beverley were all spare parts that Morey accumulated. That said, Morey can and will (based on history) acquire spare parts again if needed.
Maybe get a 2nd do-over and 3rd meeting?

Sources said Lakers had a" good presentation" with LaMarcus Aldridge Thursday, but Lakers "don't think he was wooed" by it.
— Brad Turner (@BA_Turner) July 3, 2015

I have no doubt Morey can get pieces if he needs to. I guess I'm just a believer in roster continuity. Having said that...getting the guys back at reasonable prices is key, and the way free agency has gone, reasonable prices are in short supply. We'll see what happens.
Who? After Aldridge and DJ(who we apparently aren't pursuing for obvious reasons), the next best remaining FAs are guys like Patrick Beverly and Tobias Harris - not exactly guys who will make a huge impact. That leaves trades and with Aldridge & DJ still out there, no one is moving just yet.
For the record, I think LA has every right to take his time and make sure he's making the right decision. But could you imagine if Dwight was this indecisive a couple years ago... People would be calling him selfish and immature for holding up free agency for 2nd tier players.
Lol did Dirk retire for something already? Also why in the hell consider the Mavs? Seriously, 37 year old Dirk and micro-fracture Parsons is ALL that team has left right now. Choosing the Mavs is choosing to rebuild for years to come. Mavs should just retire Dirk and start the rebuild already, he's too old to try to rebuild around again, i'm not convinced Aldridge would even make them a playoff team anymore.
Worried about the Clippers, he should definitely worry about Dallas.

As for the Clips. DeAndre has concerns about roster. mekel was waived back in october. if lma & dj get 18 a piece then matthews can get 12 if they stretch parsons. harris felton matthews aldridge, dirk, powell dj
He will still require large dollars and a sign in trade. Unless some magic can be worked with a Beverley sign and trade (Bima outlined earlier), Harris could also cost us Ariza at the dollars he's seeking.
Her tweets read like notes passed around the halls of middle school. "DJ is worried y'all.....about Blake leaving in 2 years OMG" "LaMarcus needs more time to think and look at everything #feelings"
I like the #HarrisToHarris hashtag. Marketable, witty and deals with Houston. Let's get it trending, folks.
This would be sweet, I feel like Ariza is going to be involved in a trade for a pg probably Rubio. Harris would be a huge upgrade
They're not going to do that to Parsons. I live in the DFW and I know for sure they already had their cheerleader tryouts. It'll cost too much money to open it up again.
