I have found one site that lists him as questioable for Monday night. Can a player really come back that fast from that type of injury? Mango ------------------ Get it right or just don't do it! Special Assignment: ZRB Patrol
The last I heard was McDyess saying that it's nothing major and he expected to play on Monday. When you think about it, a lot of people dislocate shoulders and they just pop it back into place and they're ready to go pretty quickly. I don't know if it's the same thing with a patella, but if it is, I guess it's not that surprising. Apparently after he dislocated, he came back and tried to play in the same game, so again I'm guessing it just sounds a lot worse than it really is. ------------------ "I was arrested for sexual assault involving an elderly man and I was out in 35 minutes." -- Achebe - programmer by day, geriatric ass grabber by night. As(s?) a side note, he did state he was cleared of charges.
The question is, while the knee cap was dislocated were the ligaments and tendons around the knee stretched and strained while the knee was displaced, if it popped in and out real quick with minimal damage to the ligaments around the knee then he should be fine. He will probably wear tape or a brace on it to stop displacement for a while. ------------------ CUT Tino These Heaves are just getting Ridiculous!
As you might have seen, McDyess didn't play last night. That's fitting though because no one else on the team decided to either. ------------------ Nuggets4 The Pinnacle - Proof that Rivals.com Isn't COMPLETELY Evil! http://www.NugsPinnacle.com
