Seems like the reports out of LA the past few days constantly contradict each other. I'm gonna go ahead and disregard anything on their front.
I thought Bosh was adamant about not playing center too? Man, this is so dramatic. This should be TNT's next "hit" show.
Even so, they are replacing Bosh with the same player...the very same kind of player. I mean are there players with more similar games than these two? Not only would they be replacing Bosh with the same player around the same age...but giving up players to do so? It makes 0 sense. The heat have been a pathetically desperate team ever since losing Lebron.
It's not so much Doc as it just makes sense for LMA to come to Houston. Crazy thing is... if he comes to Houston and Dwight opts out of deal next year. We could work a S/T with Ariza in 2016 FA (if we can get Bev off books this FA we can maybe keep Ariza as Bima stated) and chase Durant STILL and hope Howard takes less money to win title. New CBA should help (MAYBE allowing Morey to wheel and deal). 2016-2017 could feature: PG: Who Cares Just Be Servicable SG: Harden, who cares SF: Durant, who cares PF: Aldridge, who cares C: Howard, who cares Championship. Lol.
Agreed. I'm trying to understand this move myself, hence the health issue question. But Miami seems poised to gut their team once again to make it work, so they'll have to move Bosh over to the 5.
I'm not sure Whiteside is such a good get in terms of POR getting pieces backed in a S&T. Isn't Whiteside a pure UFA next summer? There's going to be like 20 teams after him, so unless you're a true contender this season, not sure Whiteside will be that valuable.
I'll get slammed for this, but Bosh might actually be a better player than LMA. He doesn't rebound as well, but he's more efficient on offense and he's a better defender, despite not being a shot blocker.
