there are just to many guys on this team who only focus on scoring points (other than steves) rather than defining other roles defnsively, and creating for others on the team. Although MO taylors play has risen as of late, i'm just sick of watching him taking 19 ft jumpers that steve or mobes should be taking. he needs to post up more.Defensively, this team needs to step it up if we seriosuly want to make a run at the playoffs. ALso, can someone tell steves to shoot more! ------------------
How the hell do you know that. All because they shoot a lot? Unless you hear it come from their mouth and able to quote them word for word, don't say that ****. ------------------ Cuttino Mobley Online
Thats just my opinion, the offense is to stagnant with everyone playing on the permieter looking to shoot especially MO. I like the guy but he can't keep shooting those Js. ------------------
There are a bit of role players on the Rockets that are not just about scoring. Infact, there is probably only two(worried about scoring), Stevie and Cat, and at least Francis gets other people involved. Thats one thing Mobes needs to do more of. Take for instance, the MOoch. He thinks pass well before shoot. SA also likes the team game and getting everybody involved, plus he plays great defense and takes pride in that. While most of the other players like to shot, thats not all they think about. There is more than one thing the Rockets have to do to make playoffs, trust me, and defense is definitely one of them. You are right about MO. He needs to stop taking those crapass 20ft Jumpshots and take it inside and get to the line more often. I he establishes an inside presence, then the lane will open up for Cat and Stevie. MO, of all people, needs to play his role better ------------------ "GiddyUP!!!" Krammer from Seinfeld
umm, isn't mo taylor hitting OVER HALF HIS SHOTS? i don't care if they're 22 1/2 footers. that man needs to shoot the ball more. if you want to complain about something, complain about his defensive rebounding. to complain about his shooting, while ignoring THE BEST FG% ON THE TEAM is pretty stupid. ------------------ "i still fondly remember how the Chuckster threw a basketball at Shaq´s forehead, and then, after avoiding a blow by the behemot, proceeded to wrestle him to the ground like a sac of potatoes, while throwing a fair share of jabs at that big oaf´s ear." - Thanos ah the memories... Barkley was the man.
When he is shooting that high a percetage, I would prefer that he take the 22 footers. It draws the opposing power forward away from the basket. Do you think it is a coincedence that we have no post game but some of the highest rebounding production from the guard positions in the league. ------------------ Don't come in Bullard's house!
