You actually think that DMO would not be part of a sign and trade for LMA or is it just the players you deem that you want traded? Outside of Howard and Harden I think no one is safe in not getting moved for an all star like LMA.

I certainly hope not, but SA seems 2b ahead.

What constitutes as "meeting went well"? If you aren't first, you're last!

I can't believe the Rockets have kept the lid shut on this for this long. This feels like the Dwight sweepstakes once again!

I know its kind of late, but I would be in favor of suspending this thread and creating just a free agency update thread.

There is too much getting lost in this thread.

Also I would like to keep the Cyberx updates coming when he hears them, but that can be new threads for each topic I would think????

Mods if you see this, I would appreciate it.

What if he's waiting to see what sign and trade Morey can conjure?

Greg Monroe's interest in Portland, for example.

In fact, Detroit is a perfect third party for a trade; but I digress.

Spurs have the easiest path to get him, that's for sure. But I'm the fool waiting for the final word.

There is no Rocket news, this is just a general chat, no point in locking the most active thread on the forum again.

i think its fine, if you want to see CYberX's posts go to his post history, just like you would go to woj/stein's twitter feed to see their tweets.

click here for cyber posts, just keep it separate tab open for it and refresh it dob

I think if you lock this thread, we are going to have a clusterf*** of threads popping up on GARM for every Twitter update. Don't think Clutch has time to sort out that mess. The thread has gotten a lot better when that mantitoba20something guy got the ban.

    Stein:

SA is still the favorite. Phoenix has barged into this thing. To get Tyson Chandler, that is the center Aldridge would love to play with. He does not want to play center in the NBA. He wants someone next to him to guard the rim and bang and free him up to do his thing offensively. Suns got that done in time to bring Tyson to the meeting. SA is still the favorite. Phoenix has shot past teams like Los Angeles, Dallas and Houston. That was a surprise. Everyone around the league thinks San Antonio.

I really don't understand how everyone can just forget about Dwight on the Rockets. He is 4x better than Chandler. This is just becoming comical. I still doubt we sign Aldridge but reporting like this just pisses me off.

Rockets should send tape of Dwight abusing Tyson in the post these past playoffs to LMA.

Honestly I think it's San Antonio and thats all. These other teams (us included) don't really have a shot.

Phoenix really is the best spot for him to land. No point in gutting the roster to get LMA and keeping him away from San Antonio also helps. Harden wanted guard help so go get some more playmakers and create a deeper roster.

I think Morey understands this so it makes me think all of this 3rd star chasing has to be mainly Les driven.

Geez ... we don't have to trade away DMO. If LMA is willing to play for the Rockets organization. He might as well take a 1 (+1 player option) contract and opt out the same year as D12.

It seems to be we have to trade everybody besides Harden and Howard in order to have a shot at LMA ... really?

Man, Phoenix jumping into this thing is totally like Golden State in the Dwight sweepstakes.

National media assumed it would be LA the whole time, but then the media started hard selling Golden State after they made a couple of moves. We all know how that ended up.
