Meh, its understandable. Its more of a home/culture issue. Easy to pack your bags up and move to another part of the country, way more difficult to move to a whole new country with different customs and a language barrier of sorts. Also he's giving up fame, money, and the significance of his role to play in the NBA. Look at what happened when V-Span rushed to sign here. He cried and went home.
Didn't Doc Rocket say that Llull waited for the Rockets? This could be like last season with Lowry getting told to wait because Rockets wanted to chase Bosh and Melo first and then getting tired of it. Rockets probably didn't guarantee him anything and he didn't want to be the loser's trophy.
