LMA leads the league in mid range 2s. We don't take mid range 2s. We actively try to avoid mid range 2s. Why in the world would he sign with a team that that places no value in his greatest strength guys? Stop trying to make LMA happen. LMA's not going to happen.
I guess I'll have to see how he fares on the Raptors. IMO his efficiency may have more to do with Coach Budenholzer's system rather than his personal "arsenal". Dwayne Casey will definitely optimize his defense though.
You're really overrating Carroll. Ariza had a similar season offensively with the Wizards while being a better defender. He got half as much off that season as Carroll is getting off an inferior season.
Dallas has a decent amount of cap space, but not enough for max contracts for both and also would have zero depth. They would be worse than the clippers are now. DJ looks to want money and more touches. He probably won't get that with LMA and Dirk in Dallas. They would not have the MLE.
The recruiting pitch is based on Parker at 1, Green at 2, Kawhi at 3, Duncan at 5, Manu as 6th man and Pop as the coach. The backup center is an after thought.

That contract looks good to me considering his age and the contract getting thrown out now. He's got great form and elevation on his jumper, can't see why he wouldn't improve with guys like Harden and Dwight commanding most of the focus. Where he has trouble is bringing up the ball and creating his own shot.
