Ehh, LMA would probably have to play some center there since they don't have a back up center either. Especially on days when Timmy has to rest. With the Rockets, LMA would rarely ever play center with Dwight Howard and Clint Capela. Just saying. hahaha
Yes that is the first thing that comes to mind. I just always felt that an athlete would want to be a champion. However, a business is a business is a business. How sick is Melo right now? Lol. I guess $ helps to remedy some of that sickness.
A slightly unrelated question here. I asked it in LMA thread too. Can Dallas offer the max to LMA and DJ? If yes, that would make them instant contenders. My guess is that they want DJ to take a paycut, so they can sign both of them. I am sure DJ wants the max, but he also wants to win a championship.
This narrative needs to die. They'd have the room MLE and vet minimum to add guys like Perkins, Amare, Dalembert to take minutes at the 5.
DeMarre's O was a result of a GREAT offensive system implementation in Hawksville. Will he have the same ops, same results elsewhere? Raps are paying to find out. And I actually wish them well with it.
Pretty crazy, but its kinda amazing how bigs have gotten bank this offseason... DMO and Jones must be licking their chops for the next offseason...
Greg Monroe.... haha.... Actually if LaMarcus ends up going to the Spurs, Rox, or Suns, it will be pretty fruitful for him to have the Knicks and Lakers go nuts bidding for his services. Next year is going to be nuts. Half of these contracts signed this Summer will be made available by the trading deadline as usual before a big free agent Summer. Lots of teams are going to be trying to create TWO max slots. Should be an interesting trade deadline in February. But Lebron has a knack at going completely radio silent for days and putting a stop to everything. LMA's camp is being much more open. I mean they pretty much told LAL they are out, but were smart to not turn them down completely so they have a team with pure max cap space to draw leverage if needed for a S&T. Durant next year... I don't think he will hold things up like Lebron. Nobody does is like he does.
There's probably more of a chance that Phoenix adds both Beverley and Rondo than there is us getting Bledsoe.
Not really. That contract is not pretty (3 years/24M). He cannot shoot the three and settles for long twos. Much rather have Bev if we can keep him for 5M.
