The difference between Millsap and Smith is NOT $17.5 million per year. In fact, they're probably about equal as far as their contributions on the court.

If the Rockets can convince Smith to take the $2.5 offer, they will have made out like bandits.

Yep, everyone knows today's dollar will be worth 50 cents next year. But it doesn't change much. LMA was always going to get the max and Beverly was always going to out price himself for us. Still if we Snt for LMA we still can sign Brewer and Llull and if we don't we still can sign Brewer and Llull.

I think Smith is better until he starts chucking up a lot of shots under 30%

There is a value. Small market teams with hige capspace need to sign now big $ players. Thats why even hinkie is starting to make moves in fa. Zach lowe even said it in his podcast.

However millsap is directly burrying their very young and promising talent and you cant trust skiles. Skiles will only play him and leave 10 mins for gordon. Gordon is very raw has star potential and needs a LOT of patience and time to make mistakes.

Btw someone mentioned that orlando tried to trade for ibaka on draft day? Anyone knows anything about that?

Someone tweeted Wade will end up with about 100 million dollars less than Melo in his career. That's really sad.

Shot 53% around the rim, 36% from the left corner, 42% from the right corner, and 43% above the break on the left side......and that's for the entire year.

In the playoffs, Smith hit 44% from the field and 38% from 3. Millsap was 41% from the field and 31% from 3.

Smith at $2.5 isn't a good deal......it's an absolute steal.

The price you pay to win. Sure 3 rings won't get you 100 million but at least for legacy's sake Wade will be in the conversation of best shooting guards ever while Melo will be remembered for..............hmm...........

Guessing Llull signs the full MLE (3 years, $17MM). Aldridge chooses LA/San Antonio. Then hopefully Smoove re-signs here and DM uses Pap, Jones, picks to go after a backup shooter/scorer.

Cyber! Not surprising given offers that are being thrown around. Do you think the Rockets will be the one to give it?
