Byebye Bev....better get Llull or a legit PG locked down. We need to focus our attention more on the PG spot. If we go into next season without a real starter and another play maker we'll be back where we started last season.
What do you considered over paid. For a team like the rockets with no point guard no as long as it's not max or close to max money. He's worth 10 mil.
Man...I'd really hate to be back where we were last season as one of the best teams in the league. Ugh!
Here's your three way contract possibility, with Beverly going to Cleveland on sign and trade, Haywood contract to Portland, other Rockets to Portland, LMA to Houston?

Also hearing the Cavaliers have interest in Pat Beverley.
— Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) July 1, 2015

Your high. I likely wouldn't like anything over 5-6 mill per on a 3 yr deal. Highest I'd likely be willing to go is 6.5-7ish per and that's if llull is not coming and morey doesn't think we have a realistic shot at obtaining a pg via trade
Never mind.

@Jonathan_Feigen Given Cavs' huge anticipated team salary, don't see how they can get him for > Taxpayer MLE ($3.4M). To the rockets I think he is. Let's just look at what happened in the playoffs. Pat may not be a Chris Paul or Curry those are max guys but his D his attitude and just playing his part is worth every penny to this team.
I see PatBev getting paid more than Rox can offer- but they will try in my opinion. It sucks, but part of me feels okay with it... His Injuries last season makes it hard to feel the pain of loosing him.
Sucks to be talking about Pat Beverley... what's going on with the real point guards in this league that could be available? Who is calling for Eric Bledsoe?

He had some big games but, he wasn't very good in a lot of those games particularly in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. He was practically a no show in the Clippers' series, save for Game 6, and was all but invisible in the Warriors' series. I don't think he can be our best perimeter guy off the bench, not with his poor shooting. He is, at best, a role player and not a 6th man type perimeter player.
