The pairs are as follows from yahoo sports: The competition will bring out some of the best players from both the NBA and WNBA, with Tracy McGrady joining Nykesha Sales to form the Orlando duo and Phoenix's Jason Kidd teaming with Brandy Reed. Pedrag Stojakovic, one of the favorites in the Shootout, will team up with Ruthie Bolton-Holifield to form the Sacramento duo. Houston Comets guard Sheryl Swoopes will join Rockets guard Cuttino Mobley, Dawn Staley will be coupled with David Wesley to form the Charlotte team and Nikki McCray and Richard Hamilton will represent Washington. The 2-ball competition really REALLY sucks I tell you...the NBA need to be more creative...its soooooo pointless and boring! has no exitement or suspense involved....They should make a drills competition of some kind similar to what the NFL does (obstacle course type)...or better yet, what about a two on two co-rec pickup tourney instead? wouldn't that sound much better? just that word two-ball makes me sick to my stomach...what about a game of horse???
