[ESPN] Sources: Aldridge to start free agency with Lakers, Rockets

I don't see how any of us can be certain that Aldridge is coming to Houston or if he is not coming to Houston. The Rockets have a good pitch, but so do some other teams and you never know what factors a free agent considers in making a decision.

So, let's just follow the reports and let the story play out.

 

I don't think you're reading his posts correctly. $13m was in reference to Bledsoe. And the players being thrown out in trade aren't for the purpose of saying what it'd take to get him. It's in response to your assertion that Ariza would have to be included as well just like LMA which isn't true. You wouldn't have to trade Ariza to make a salary match for bledsoes $13m. You'd have to include a ton of other assets but salaries would be much easier to come up with than LMA. Why you mad bro?

OK. You're Pat Riley, you are offered Jones (Keep in mind you have Bosh AND Whiteside), Papanikalau, and Prigioni for Dragic. You make that deal?

 

Players that make sense for this team
1.Rodney Stuckey: Helps Houston at point guard a position they need and he has a lot of experience.
2.llull or Vasquez: Great back ups and fills the position they need.
3.Corey Brewer: He was big part of the reason the Rockets succeeded in the playoffs.
4.David West: Solid back up PF

Players that don't make sense
1.Lamarcus Aldridge: Too much money and the Rockets won't be able to sign role players.
2.Kevin Love: Like Aldridge he is too expensive and he is not healthy which is a concern.
3.Draymond Green: I know they won't get him, but he is overrated and a midget.
4.Carlos Boozer: WTF are they serious?

 

I don't think Phoenix does the Bledsoe deal either. They'll get a better offer.
