And the Spurs are not close. We have Harden and Howard. Most of their stars are retiring soon and Pop has to be close behind. Even if you think the Spurs give him an even chance at one ring there's no good argument that they're even with us over the next four years.

First, you don't need to hit 13 million…you could get a total of 10.5 million or so dollars for a trade to go through. You don't need to have Ariza in that deal. Having said that, Dragic hates Houston…but the point is that we should focus our efforts on PG…or a player that we have a better chance to get.

 

Chill man....I'm not saying that would get him. See my post above. I'm just saying you don't need to trade ariza to match salaries. jones isn't 1.6 btw he's 2.5. KPap/jones/Prigs gets you $9m and you only need to send shy of $10m to make it work. So yeah filler being another $1m in salary. Take your pick on the roster man.

 

ya no doubt in my mind that would be better then signing LMA...fill the pg spot with someone really good like bledsoe or lawson and roll with dmo and smith while keeping ariza seems the deeper and better team
