Guys, I'll be on Austin Sports Radio 1300 AM today at 3:20pm CST discussing Hakeem's situation and the Rockets. They had me on during the Save Our Rockets thing and love cc.net so they wanted me on to discuss the Rockets.

It is kinda the "ClutchCity.net" insider thing I guess. You guys have probably heard it all before but, you can tune in online at their website:

That the Bucky show isn't it? Good for you. Sorry I won't catch it, since I don't have a radio here at the office (or speakers on the computer).

    Good job, Jeff.

You're right, nothing new here, but it's good to hear one of our own on the radio. I'm astounded by the fact you can talk like that on the radio, so fluidly, without totally freezing up (like I would [IMG] ).

Thanks. If there's one thing I never had a problem with, it is talking. [IMG] Just ask my wife, my friends, my parents, my relatives.....

I finally got connected. They said, "Jeff Balke from ClutchCity.net".....then I got disconnected. Then my computer froze.

Jeff, I'm curious, how did this "appearance" come about?

    BTW, good job.

Jeff, I heard you loud and clear up here in Omaha,Ne...........you sounded great. Are the Rockets really looking at Mark Jackson of the Warriors or were you using an analogy?
    Good Job!! [IMG]

Pimp: I was on their show when SOR was going on and they frequent cc.net. They remembered me from SOR and love cc.net so they emailed me and asked me to be on and discuss the Hakeem situation. The last time I was on with them, we talked arena some and Rockets some and they mentioned my columns here so I guess they like what I have to say and I know they like what cc.net has to say.

ROKSS: It was part analogy and part reality. Even Doc Rocket has mentioned his name here before but our chances of landing him are slim because GS has right of first refusal on him.

Mainly, I wanted to point out that cap space doesn't necessarily have to mean one really big time free agent. It can mean lesser known guys and even trades. That is why it is so valuable.
