I guess Melo is ok with his return on a non-"ridiculous" contract. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">There have been rumblings from league sources that the Knicks may pursue free agent Jeremy Lin this summer. No word what they would offer.</p>— Alex Kennedy (@AlexKennedyNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA/status/615325532138266626">June 29, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Happy to add AB. Jeremy? I would have to hide the ammunition I have locked up at home from myself to prevent a possible self-inflicted wound. Not because I dislike Lin. Heck, I still have one of his bobblehead dolls that I got at the Toy Box when I was able attend a meet and greet with Jeremy after a game. What I could not handle would be the return of his irrational mob of demented fans. To be sure, I'm not including those who arrived here with Jeremy, became fans of the Rockets, and have proven to be nice additions to the ClutchFans family.
Well God isn't real so I'll let Lin have this little toy if it makes him feel better, but I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of religious people believe they have some "purpose"
Philadelphia makes a ton of sense. They are trying to lose but they want to keep fans in the seats. Fits Lins qualities exactly.
If the Mavs is losing Rondo and Monta.... There was some rumour they were looking at Lin. Not sure if Parsons, Amare and TChandler would be putting in a good word or not.
If the Mavs *are* losing Rondo and Monta... And it seems they might not be getting LMA either.... Another year of treading water, it would seem.
Remember when he posted this a couple of offseasons ago and got everyone's hopes up? Until he does it on the court, it's all talk.
Lin has actually improved his shooting each year, drastically so. While I doubt he will actually hit the 40 marker as that's basically sacred territory for shooters, it wouldn't be beyond him to actually become a reliable shooter. It's his up and down performance (mostly down) in the clutch that leaves much to be desired. There are some very serious criticisms of Lin (turnover prone, tendency to jump in the air without a plan, questionable handles, over reliance on the pick and roll, ect), but if Lin was back on our team, normal shooting is not something I would worry about as much.
Lin made sense there if this was the Lin from three years ago. I don't know how much of a draw he is anymore.
I think I've had about as many laughs out of this thread from Zboy and tinman (and a few others) than I have ever had from a thread on this BBS. Laying down the truth and it's comedy genius up in here.
why he is posing with some other player's shot machine? we all know that guy can't even buy a bucket at KFC
That machine can't count all his shots that don't hit the ring. His real percentage would be much lower.
Thanks. Just keepin' it real and educating folks. Lakers/Rockets insider cyberx recently posted this... LOL Jeremy Lin is the Rodney Dangerfield of NBA.
