Lakers management went to Jeanie and asked if Lin sold a lot of tickets - if they should bring him back... Jeanie goes, I DONT CARE! I JUST WANT US TO WIN! I DONT CARE ABOUT TICKET sales.. haha crazy... I dont see Draymond being an option here.
I view Bev as the likeliest starting PG on the Rockets next season. The Rockets have full Bird rights and he will probably be signed for ~$3M/year. Great value. Stuckey would make a great situational starter and a great back up. I have no idea what his value is this summer. Morey has stated that the Rockets most likely course of action this summer is to attempt to resign the majority of last years players. It does seem likely because tearing down a WCF team makes little sense. The Rockets are mentioned as "interested" in almost every free agent this summer. In the past perhaps that view made sense. But not this summer. Just media speculation IMHO. This is the point in the Rockets development that Morey hangs up his six shooter and just works on improving the team around the edges. Moray had a great draft and one minor PG addition might be enough to put them over the top.
Who exactly will be bidding against the Rockets? Bev is a lot like Draymond Green. Works perfectly with their current roster but it is difficult to find a good match in the NBA. Especially with Dallas expected to cut Ellis loose.
This is Dallas' best hope on fielding a competitive team, IMO. If they add Jordan, they can probably convince a guard to join, thus, something like Wes Matthews, Parsons, Dirk and DeAndre to lead the team, which still might not make the Western playoffs, but is at least competitive.
Dj to dallas is perfect news for rocket fans. It makes the clippers left without a center and it makes the mavs tie up their capspace in a huge contract to a center who will be nothing special without an elite pg.
John Lopez claims that Beverly has an option to go overseas for a good deal. Or at least he hints that he is claiming it.
It definitely makes the Mavs better, but the impact it would have on the Clippers would be worth that. Plus, I don't think it would make the Mavs good enough to really matter in the West. I think the impact of probably losing Monta is HUGE for their offense. I'm not sure who they could really replace him with that can score at that clip.
God I wish John Lopez would go overseas There are too many teams with too much cap space to believe bev won't find better than 3 mil a year though.
