Player LerBon is just making sure Owner/GM LerBon gets the rest of the roster to his liking and taken care of. :)

    Yeah, not surprising at all

Both him and Love have stated this

Even if he signs a 1yr deal he stands to make a bit more money

LeBron is not leaving Cleveland. He is opting out to get a bigger contract from Cleveland. Why would he leave again after he went to the finals with the Cav? That would be a bad look for LeBron.

Couldn't they cavs do what morey tried last year. Sign a max free agent then go over the cap to retain their own Free agents. Its only one season of luxury tax.

    'Uh oh' - CLE fans.

Lebron is making it his duty now to make sure he always keep a teams FO on their toes.

After suffering through bad rosters his 1st stint with CLE, he's deciding to dictate everything on his terms now. Good for him, too many great player careers have been for nothing in terms of winning, due to inept organizations. Dominique Wilkins come to mind immediately.

Never been done before, I have no problem with. Organizations, especially in football use the heck outa these players, good to see a player finally flip it.

AND he's still winning through it all, can't say he's going about it the wrong way.

In that case Kevin love, Wade, Lebron, and Tristan Thompson will all get paid. Let J.R. smith go.

I never thought about it but Lebron is a really smart guy that just finished high school. Opting out means the team has the ability to really go after who they want while still signing him to whatever he wants over the cap because of his bird rights. Well played Lebron, well played.

It was a joke. But he did go to 4 straight finals with Miami and left.

Does CLE have his Bird Rights? Didn't he sign as a FA when returning from South Beach?
