Like others have mentioned before the sample size is way too small. It's not like he helped the Mavs get into the PlayOffs in the first place anyways. Comparing a guy that looks like he will get injured very easily if the "usage" is increase to Ariza or Deng is awful. He shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Ariza, Deng or Brewer as it stands.
I watched every minute of the series. Thank you. Aminu played exact the role Ariza played: 3&D. But he just far out-performed Ariza on the court. 64% vs 29% 3P%. +32 vs -4 NetRtg. Not even close.
Actually aminu played a pretty important role off the bench when Chandler was injured much earlier in the season and really came into his own after the Rondo trade. I followed him closely in fantasy. I will say this, his minutes were generally inconsistent because Carlisle didn't trust his shooting. For that reason it is best to think of him as bench player being groomed to take over for a starter. If we didn't have other players to worry about, I'd be pushing for Morey to pay him.
Interesting player, easily could play the 3/4. He's good in transition and plays good D, certainly needs to become a consistently better shooter. If Brewer becomes too expensive, him and some expirings could be moved and we poison pill the contract.
Very nice player. I'm glad he has found and established a place in the league and I think he will get a good contract.
I've always been an Aminu fan. However, he really isn't a fit with the Rockets. But I wish him the best. Really respect his game, way more than anyone else from So Okla. The guy hustles like crazy and but his ability to the test.

If Corey Brewer somehow left Houston, I would not mind if Aminu is signed. Though he is not fast like the "greyhound," he grinds it out with toughness and his rebounding on the block/boards. No doubt, I hope he gets paid.
Was easily their best player on the court for some games behind monta. Cant wait to see him up and leave them high and dry. Fugg dallas.
Damn Shaq2Yao getting owned by half the BBS yet still insisting Aminu is a better 3nD player because of a 5 game sample size  Dude the series lasted 5 games, if Aminu was this good where was he all year? His year long 3p% was still worse than Ariza in the playoffs and yet because Aminu had a 5 game hot streak he is automatically better than Ariza? FYI Ariza himself had a great playoff run before we signed him, he shot like 40% from the 3.
