A pizza, cheese breadsticks and a burger is on the way. I've got a bottle of Cherry Coke in the fridge.

Zydeco....two fried chicken legs and a thigh, black eyed peas, broccoli and cheese, some white rice with a dab of chicken fricassee, and a piece of jalepeno cornbread.

    I'm ready for a nap.

So far I've had a nectarine, two pickles and a handful of raw almonds. I'm thinking about rounding it out with an egg salad sandwich.

What!? I've lived in Houston all my life. What the hell is better than Goode Co.? Give me some of the other BBQ places and I'll start a poll, Goode Co, would have to win.

Williams Smokehouse hands (and all other limbs & appendages) down kicks the snot outta Jimmy G's place. Thelma's too. The only place I can think of more over-rated than Goode Co. is Otto's.

Goode Company is great barbecue, for tourists and junior-high schoolers.

    Try these on for size:

Williams Brothers Smokehouse (best ribs in the city)
    Swinging Door (Richmond/Rosenberg)
    Pappas (downtown location)
Thelma's (best brisket in the city)
    Barbecue Inn
    Brother-in-Law's Barbecue
    Dozier's Grocery (Fulshear)

By the way....which junior high school do you attend?
