    Are the Rockets REALLY trying to get cap space? That makes little sense.

    They'd have to drop all their FAs and trade Ariza for anything near decent cap space.

    No Stein has zero idea about cap stuff. It makes absolutely no sense to do anything other than try to get a FA in a S&T.

    Before the partial lung collapse, yes. He made a strong comeback after being out for so long with the peroneal nerve injury.

    Depends on what games other teams were watching. He had some really good moments in the playoffs. Games 1 & 5(the last 6 minutes at least) vs. Dallas and Games 6 & 7 vs the Clippers. He actually started that huge comeback in LA. The problem of course is his propensity for vanishing completely in other games.

    I suppose if another GM or coach looks at him and sees untapped potential(he is still only 23 after all), they may take a shot at trying to develop him.

    Will be interesting to see whether they get value for Jones and what.

    With the serious nerve injury to his leg you would have to wonder. I don't think they could get much for DMO after he had back surgery.

    Even though I wrote a while ago that we will trade Jones prior to the season start, because it wouldn't make sense to bring him for the final year, I am still pleasantly surprised. Or maybe that's just excitement. Wanted him gone for years and finally it's happening.
    Sucks that we're shopping him with his value being all times low though. And I also have a strong feeling that we won't get anything better than him in return. Just like the last preseason. Ariza meh, when Bosh and others were in play. Surprised this year we didn't come up on the news for chasing sign and trades, that deep run seems like the best time to try convince big names to want to come here. U better not miss the opportunity Maury

    This doesn't make sense, if they wanted to clear cap space you think they'd start with trading Ariza and Papa, given they have much larger salaries then Jones (1.6 million).

    I think the Rockets use Jones/ 18th pick to try and trade up in an effort to get Myles Turner.

    Neither the 18th pick nor Jones sounds enticing on the open market....

    Maybe we get a good role player in return, wait TJones is 23
