This thread isn't about who you WANT the Rockets to draft.

This thread is about predicting the future and who you think the Rockets WILL draft.

Morey is unpredictable... who do you got?

I hope people pay attention to the WANT vs WILL distinction. Everyone seems to WANT a PG, but that just doesn't seem to be in the Rockets DNA.

I'll go with Kevon Looney. Fits the mold of a high upside big that we can stash down in the D-League for development.

He always goes BPA so it's more about predicting who will fall.

    I'm gonna guess Bobby Portis.

Sam Dekker's stock is falling a little so I could see him going to maybe Boston, and Portis dropping a few more spots.

The PGs obviously make sense at face value (Tyus and Jerian), but it seems like a lot of our draft picks don't make a lot of sense until we see what Morey has in mind for them.

I would bet that Morey loves Kevin Looney's potential as well.

Morey is always BPA.....UNLESS we pick up a point guard, who would likely wind up on another team long before the team reconvenes for next season.

Tyus Jones, as part of an attempt to trade for a player taken in the top 10.

I'm hoping it's Jerian Grant from ND 6'5" can play point and shooting guard.

I would prefer Grant at 18. He is ready to play and contribute now!

BPA obviously with both picks. Position doesn't matter as the roster can always be adjusted/shifted. "We aren't going to leave talent on the table" - Gersson Rosas

BUT, aside from that, my gut tells me that the Rockets will end up drafting a front court player. Maybe Trey Lyles if he falls.

I know a lot of mocks have the Rockets taking Tyus Jones and he would be fine, but I think if all else is equal, Morey will go with a Big.
