Denis Villeneuve did Incendies & Prisoners. It was well received a Cannes this year and it looks like Grade A genre filmmaking.

^if you love emily blunt you should watch summer of love. will check out sicario, the bleached saturated editing reminds me of 'traffic' during the mexico scenes.

I hope it's non-specific and completely anonymous with regards to the criminal elements. Real Cartels hate negative publicity along with any vague references to specific groups of kind.

A couple of positives if they kept it vague, 1) no free publicity for real Cartels and 2) there are only 2 Cartels still operating in Mexico. The rest have almost completely been destroyed or badly splintered which leaves the Cartels with bigger issues than Hollywood.

The film looks really gritty in a great way. Will watch.

I thought Incendies was overlooked by many, it was a quality film and Prisoners was excellent, I will definitely be checking this one out.

This looks really good! Thanks for posting that trailer.

Made me think about the cancelled TV Show, "The Bridge." I really liked that show.

So this comes out on the 16th. Most of the reviews look pretty strong with a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Gonna be a must see I guess.
