Rondo, lee, lawson, Williams and etc who and what do we need?

    Not ideas really, I just thought the thread was apprioate considering it's off season and I listed free agents and people we could trade for.

    I also added who should we resign, get rid of and trade.

    With all the trades popping off and the finals over I think this thread wasent a bad post.

    Plan B : Deon Williams

    I don't want rondo , horrible 3 put shooter , horrible ft shooter ? Only averaged 8 pets 8 assists

    Ty Lawson for sure and I suppose deron williams would be better then nothing but isn't his contract pretty high?

    Ray Allen isn't done I'd say. Ray Allen and Lou Williams would be who i would go for. Then trade jones and Dorsey and nick for Plumlee

    See who will take the poopoo plater (TJones/KPap/Prigs/Dorsey/NJohnson/picks - even throw in Llull or Gentile rights... if it means saving a pick or two...)
    A) Lowry
    B) Lawson
    C) Celtics (IT/Bradley/Smart)
    D) If Rondo wants to take the min....

    Resign PBev, Brewer, JT @ min, spend MLE to retain Josh and McD.... Josh isnt returnng for 1.25 or whatever lowball number his min is...
    get Scola for the min...

    D12/Capela
    DMo/JSmith/Scola
    Ariza/Brewer/KJ
    Harden/Brewer/KJ
    PBev/trade pg

    then its a matter of what vets want to take the min to get a ring... ;)

    Maybe if I repeat this enough times it will happen...

    Llull for the MLE,

    Jones, Papa, Prigs, #18, #32 for Lawson

    Resign Smith for $2.5, Brewer with bird rights, Terry and Scola for vet min

    Give Dorsey to anyone for a future never likely to receive second rounder

    Lawson/Llull/NJ
    Harden/Terry
    Ariza/Brewer
    Dmo/Smith/Scola
    Howard/Capela

    This is basically the same squad as last year with the major additions of Lawson and Llull. I would also make Llull the 6th man at about 18-20 minutes per game backing up Lawson and Harden.

    Minutes distribution like so:

    Lawson(36)/Llull(12)
    Harden(36)/Llull(6)/Brewer(6)
    Ariza(36)/Brewer(12)
    Dmo(24)/Smith(24)
    Howard(36)/Capela(12)

    I agree with everything here but would denver really take Jones? Is the manimal their PF? Or C? I love the trade for us but I just don't know if Jones is the guy Denver is looking for to lead off the trade. I hope so

    He could be a good back up plus the draft picks you'll be offering. At this point Denver has to trade ty Lawson because reports say it's a mess and ty is clashing with Denver. He's got a decently hefty contract and I'm not sure if other teams could offer any better then we could?.

    Other than Sacramento there just aren't that many teams in need of a PG and that would be interested. Morey was smart enough to lock up the talent in the hardest positions to find it SG and C.

    Jones is a good player on a rookie cheap deal, two decent draft picks and a good amount of salary cap space thanks to the non guaranteed Prigs and Papa.

    It's a reasonable deal considering how disgruntled Lawson is and how the Nuggets seriously need to blow it up and rebuild.

    True. Your right they are motivated and also are in full rebuild mode. Draft picks like you said are enticing and it's not like Jones and Papa are bad or simply trade bait, in the right situation they can flourish.

    You made me a believer. Let's get it done DM! Would fit in well as far as swag and tough personality. And listen.. I love Scola but I'm just scared he's not what we need.. if Dmo and Smith are going to stay I want that solid hard working defensive rebounder who can give us 10 minutes and be a differenfe maker (even freaking Ezele played big in wcf) . Maybe that person is in the draft.

    Llull isn't the option I can guarantee that.
