So you saying that Jordan would have Change Shumpert, Smith and Thomas into Pippen, Horace and Rodman? Rocket River
Lebron is trash, anyone that chokes like that in the biggest game of his career doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs let alone finals
Lebron did not choke this year. He played at a level which almost averaged him a triple double. No surprise that he couldn't win the chip against a stacked Warriors team with his own depleted team. His second best players were literally Mozgov/Thompson. You aren't gonna win **** with that.
No. What I'm saying is that everyone talks about the fact that Pippen and Rodman were hall of fame talents but Jordan still commanded them because of how superior he was in terms of talent.
Jordan wouldve made that final shot in game 1, and then they wouldnt go to over time, and then Irving wouldnt get injured, and then well Jordan never loses in finals so. But thats irrevelant, its not fair to compare Lebron to the all time greats.
What I think is telling is that Lebron got more talk as a potential FMVP in a series he lost than Kobe did in any of the first three Finals series he won.
That conversation ended when LeBron was in his 20s? I could see him overtaking Jordan if he wins at least three more. His overall stats are right up there.

I blame the hate from the weight of expectation he was given since he came from high school by the media (and to a certain degree, LBJ himself).
Lebron can credibly take fault for his Miami finals losses. In his Cleveland losses, particularly his most recent one, there was no chance for him to win with his supporting cast no matter how great he played. I'm usually a huge Lebron hater, but the guy played incredible basketball against GS and anyone that tries to peg this loss on his is an idiot.
This is one of the most telling statistics. In my opinion LeBron was the Finals MVP, yes...Finals MVP on a losing side. His play was something that transcended greatness, he single handedly willed his squad to two wins. LeBron James averaged 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists across six Finals games. He would've averaged a triple double, but his supporting cast were either laying bricks, or sitting in street clothes in a cast. JR Smith shot .312 FG, .294 3's & .600 Freebies.... Delly was a woeful .283 FG & .231 on 3's! Imam shot .256 FG & .320 from downtown. James Jones .316 FG & a blistering .308 from behind the arc. What LeBron showed the world is that it is hard to beat the number one team in the league without your starting Point Guard, Power Forward & Center...Something James Harden & The Rockets know all too well. The Fact that the Cavs even won 2 Games in this series, and kept the games pretty close for the most part, is astonishing. Curry & The GSW fulfil ESPN's wet dream by winning the ring, playing 4 teams that either had their starting point guard out with injury, or playing hurt, but you won't hear much of that talk...'Injuries are part of the game, no excuses' is the line trotted out, all we are hearing from ESPN and casual fans is - LeBron Choked again. Well if you believe that, you'll believe anything. LeBron didn't choke...neither did Harden or Dwight. He, & They, were just carrying a depleted team on their shoulders and came up short. Congrats GSW winning The NBA Championship*
Sun came up this morning and Lebron still has 4 Finals losses. That alone eliminates him from ever comparing to MJ or Magic in terms of legacy. If you're talking greatest ever you have to nitpick.
The hate for Lebron is unreal. He took the corpses of the Cavs and scared the crap out of a team that won 67 games in one of the toughest conferences ever. The team he just left didn't even make the playoffs in one of the crappiest conferences ever. If the worst thing someone can say about you is you aren't as good as Jordan, youre pretty damn good. Btw, Jordan couldn't drag a Wizards to a .500 record or the playoffs in the East in 02-03. How lame was that guy?
