Off-season begins now. We lost to the champs in the WCF with 2 starters out. This could of been our year, but things happen. Let's get it next year. In Murray We Trust.
I seriously love the offseason on CF. Time to bring out the insiders and all of our hair-brained ideas to improve the team.
RJ hunter is....but booker & russell are in the conversation a few pages back you were talking about trading ariza(who i absolutely loved this year, gave us soo much on defense and leadership...even his shooting wasnt bad) but i do agree this is his peak in regards of level of interest, so assuming we do trade him and sign lull to the MLE...what type of player can we sign +KJ ?? What do you think the effect would be if he was traded, if you can plz give an example of a move we can do
Oubre no way. Not for this team. We need shooters with Character and smarts. Not dumb athletes with talent but character flaws. This team needs to get smarter and add more character. Tyus Jones and Sergio Lull fit that bill. Kelly Oubre doesn't
If that was the only thing that mattered, probably Tyler Harvey, but Booker and Hunter are going to be able to get it off in the NBA and do some other things.
Is there a coach that could ensure that everyone we play is hobbled by injury? I mean, Steve Kerr found a way to make that happen, we need someone like him that can do that.
Give the man some credit man...sure they got lucky with injuries, but he made some brilliant adjustments in these playoffs that were genius. Bogut on allen in the memphis series Starting iggy in the finals He didnt stand pat when they lost and were down 2-1 in those series, he adjusted perfectly to the matchups and situations they were in ..have some sort of basketball sense instead of fixating on one thing
Are you hinting at kaminsky? i dont know....just answer my question about the ariza trade iam very curious
Bring on the Payne... Payne has decent size for a NBA point guard at 6-2, although his 183 pound frame still needs to continue to fill out, which it will as he reaches physical maturity. Payne also has big hands and a very long wingspan (6-7) which helps him particularly on defense. Payne biggest appeal as a NBA prospect is the terrific blend he displays between scoring and passing. He shouldered a huge amount of offense for Murray State (32% Usage, second highest in the DX Top-100), but still managed to remain relatively efficient (57% TS%) and dished out passes at a terrific rate (39.5% assist percentage, #1 in DX Top-100, 7.1 assists per-40, #4 DX-100). He's an extremely unselfish player who passes with great creativity and loves to move the ball ahead in transition, either utilizing his excellent ball-handling skills or by finding the open man running the floor. In the half-court, he changes speeds nicely and has a few different gears he can get to, which helps him in particular on the pick and roll, an area that made up nearly half of his overall offense. Payne sees the floor very well and utilizes all kinds of different types of passes, using both hands and sides of the court with outstanding timing and confidence. He stays very low on his drives, which, along with his ball-handling ability and variety of hesitation moves, helps compensate for the fact that he's not blessed with incredible blow-by speed or great strength. I feel like you're going to pull out some random guy like Corey Hawkins. I think Hezonja might end up being one of the more deadly shooters, but it will be in large part because of the threat from the rest of his game.
