In my opinion Cat and Franchise are the best backcourt duo in the league. Not only do they score a lot but they work great together. Calvin and Bill said it themselves the other night "they must be attached at the hips!!" Both Cat and Franchise score 19pts a piece and the next closest gaurd duo in scoring is Ray Allen(20pts) and retro Rocket, Sam Casell(16.5pts). When I have seen of them, they don't seem to have near the relationship Stevie and Cat do. I would like to know your thoughts on this topic and how high you think the two rank in the league for any duo.

I think the Bucks have a better one with Allen and Cassell but Francis/Mobley are a close second.

I guarantee that we have the best guard quartet with Steve, Mooch, Shandon, and Cuttino.

    How about Sprewell/Houston?

I think Allen/Cassell would win a battle with Francis/Mobley purely cause of experience. Talent-wise, tere's no better duo..

OH, except for Kobe/Kobe and iverson/iverson [IMG]

Sprewell Houston are a SF/SF duo, not PG/SG.

Kobe is better than Steve, Cuttino, Allen, and Cassell all combined. That is why he will be able to carry the Lakers to the title this year. He'll do just what he did to the Knicks yesterday... maybe not..

What would your dreambackourt be with players playing today? Mind would be Iverson/Francis and my second one would be
Marbury/Hughes. And stop the Hughes bashing [IMG]

I don't know how truly good Kobe is, I mean he has a nice release on his shot, but if you watched that Knicks game sunday....

WITHOUT SHAQ - How good is Kobe?
    answer: ineffective, garbage points

Think about how good our backcourt good be if we had the giant guarding there shots and setting picks? Think about how good just Francis or Mobley would be with Shaq...blows my mind.

Best Pure Backcourt in the League, 1st place goes to the Houston Rockets, hands down.

No doubt about it...even Webber said it [IMG]. Plus, if you add in their recruiting skills(ala Mo Taylor) they are even better. Sam and Ray Allen can't have nearly as good of a relationship as Cat and Steve.

I'm glad the guy issue was not brought up here ... [IMG]

The Rockets do have the best backcourt duo. I think it's a tie with Allen/Sam. But our duo looks better! [IMG] Thanks to Sam. [IMG]
