Third stringers aren't relied on to play.

Scola is the perfect "step in" for DMo. At the minimum, who wouldn't want him?

So you surround James Harden with no shooters?

Would be insurance in case Smith leaves or Jones is made part of a trade.

He would not have a secure part in the rotation, experience and some depth.

It is clear that the Rockets need to add more Depth with Competitive Vets in order to become Championship Contenders as injuries will always be a part of the game.

Resign Brewing, Bev, Smith, Jet, Scola, & gimme some mo CV's.

Watching Capela Develop, Dance & Produce was Beautiful. I was surprised he didn't play more minutes especially in the playoffs.

It would nice to have Scola back with the team. Will see what happens on Draft night IF the Rockets make their trades that will make the need for Scola to be on the team.

If either Tjones or Dmo is gone, would love to have him back.

For sure, if this is true I'll be very happy. He gave 100% every second on the floor. I love the dude.

Awesome . I mean he's not going to be here and have 15 10 every night but he'll do the dirty work like fighting for the rebound attacking and he can pass a lil . It doesn't hurt

Simple. Take Scola. All Dorsey is good for is converting Oxygen to Carbon Dioxide.

I hope this is true. Scola is one of my all time favorite Rockets. He should retire as a Rocket. He can actually score consistently in the lane too. He would be a great addition to this team and could put us over the top.

Whats the point? Is he actually going to get playing time? After dmo and t jones..where does he fit? Is he going to play pf with dmo as the center..defence would be horrible.

That's something mentioned in the Spanish language article. Scola loved his time here, McHale loved him, Scola would like to retire as a Rocket, etc.

    thejav,

I somehow doubt Terrence Jones will still be here next season. He gave it a good go, coming back from his injuries, but Morey won't pay both Dmo and Tjones.

In any case, you know McHale. He likes who he likes. If Scola is here along with Jones and Motiejunas and Capela, Scola'd still get 15 mpg. Scola doesn't need the same instructions repeated 50 times.

scola will be great as a 5th big, filling in for when dwight misses games. of course this probably means either josh or tj are gone.

DM will start FA trying to use all his trade chips to S&T for a 3rd star. once all of those guys are settled, we bring over llull for the MLE... this leaves josh's best offer at 2.5M. if he bolts, keep TJ and sign scola. if he stays, sign scola and trade TJ.

Except when choking at the free throw line.
