Considering how many here seem to work for companies that would have administrators...this notice might be worth reading.
I havent seen it posted, so if it has, my apologies.

watch out and as usual, dont open it unless you are sure of what it is.

That virus got into BYU campus and sent out emails to all the students. Heh. I wonder how many people opened it.

    I didn't, but I'm not that stupid.

I've been watching for this since last Friday.

My email servers have stopped about 10 of them so far. I'm running an anti-virus there plus doing attachment blocking. The worst part is that the email looks like it is coming from the domain admin "admin@companydomain.com" so people tend to open it without thinking about it.

I had one user open it, but the anti-virus on his desktop stopped it. :)

that was the only reason why I actually posted this...I know some of my users would open it without question just because it says its from the admins..
Kinda ingenious social engineering...thankfully as long as the AVs are up to date..it should'nt be a problem.

hey Sonny..you guys looking for any network guys? ;)

We haven't been looking for any IT guys in years, heck we had a guy leave the company (my boss) and guess who replaced him? Me, but guess who replaced me? Nobody, so now I do twice as much... me so happy! :p
