Spears: Pat replacement? Or even as a back up to Pat, seems like a potential Morey move, if Llull isn't coming and he wants to use assets on PF spot. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mX39PU1SJpc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Why would Morey neglect the PG spot to use assets on a PF? That position is more than set. NIce kid, nice story, but wont help this team.
Only set positions are sg, c, and maybe sf....we all know Morey wants that third impact player, regardless of position, but preferably at the PG or PF spot. If he thinks he can get LMA or Love, then his plan at PG could be to keep Pat and bring in a Pat 2.0 in Jackson (overseas player for cheap), to back up.. We don't need to upgrade the PG spot much, if we have an AS PF.
Here's a name I wasn't expecting to see... Long story short: I'm a Duquesne grad that's seen him play many times. I was also the school's sports media intern at the time whenever he and three teammates were the victim of a shooting on campus. Not fun. I haven't kept tabs on his game ever since he graduated and went overseas. I can tell you a few things: -Not a natural PG. Definitely a combo guard. -He's huge for a PG. He's listed as 6'3", but I'm about 6'3" and I've stood next to him. Definitely got about an inch on me. -Very competitive, unselfish, good locker room guy -More of a slasher than a shooter -He probably won't ever be a good shooter from NBA 3-pt range I'll be honest: I never thought of him as a potential NBA player. That said, it sounds like he's made a name for himself overseas. Sounds like a versatile combo guard that could potentially defend at a high level. The downside is we're a 3&D team and you're essentially useless to us if you can't hit the open jumper -- something I fear "Ajax" might struggle with. I'd gladly be wrong about that, though. Plus, it's been a while since the Mike James days where I had a member of my college squad playing for the Rockets
