Jurassic World - 8/10 Finally, a Jurassic Park sequel that does the original some justice. I was surprised at the level of violence and dark visuals this movie had. I don't think it would be good to take your 5 year old to see this unless you want to risk calming them from nightmares. Indominous Rex is just incredibly bad@ss and really evil. The last quarter of the movie is almost non-stop edge of your seat action. The knocks I have would be some bad script dialogue and the beginning can kind of drag on, but overall, this one is worth your money. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Is there any graphic violence in this film? I want to bring my niece and nephew to this movie, but they are easily frightened. They are 6 and 7 years old, respectively.
I feel like this year has been a disappointment so far. This is by far the most anticipated movie of all time. and batman vs superman
Glad to read some of good reviews, not asking to be blown out of the water but just hoping for a fun summer flick...
There are some scenes that might be a little heavy for them, particularly showing various dinosaurs eating people (of both sexes). Think of the first Jurassic Park (the lawyer gets eaten, you see that guys detached arm). This movie is bigger, louder and with more scenes of that caliber.
I'm an admittedly protective parent, but I can't imagine this movie would be appropriate for kids that age, particularly ones that are already a tad squeamish.
It was a lot of fun. Happy I saw it in imax3d. Best use of 3D I've seen in a while. Ps Cheers to that old man saving his two drinks. That's mah *****.
Seeing it this weekend hopefully. Psyched. I think Jurassic Park is my first movie ever at the theaters as a child. This better be worth it.
We have something in common. My first live action movie. Did see a Disney animation before that. Dude
